Photos from a holiday to the UK, June 2009

We started the trip in Crawley, quite close to Gatwick Airport, relaxing and sight-seeing

The Roman villa at Pulborough

Arundel Castle and the Earl's Gardens

Brighton

Despite some trendy shopping in the Lanes, Brighton seemed to have had its heyday.

The fishing harbour at Lyme Regis, otherwise known as The Cobb, the 'steps' date from medieval times, when the harbour was first built

A beer garden in Branscombe, Devon - the pub was having a beer festival the day we were there - damn!

Next we visited Tony in Devon

Our last stop was Stone where we visited the Fraser household. We spent some lovely relaxing days doing not much beyond enjoying the local pubs, Emily's cooking, a vintage car rally, and conversations which spun a web into the small hours
